We are hiring experienced maintenance fitters to join the team at our Tarrawonga Open Cut Mine. These are autonomous, varied roles and you will:
- Work on a wide range of mobile equipment
- Conduct repairs and maintenance for mobile equipment.
- Ensure that all incidents, accidents and hazards are reported and are followed up correctly to minimise and manage risk.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance personnel
- Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts/components found.
- Work as part of team and provide assistance where required
You will have experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment and;
- Mechanical trade qualification
- Driver’s License
- Experience with
- Hitachi EX5600 and Terex Cat6040 Excavator Experience
- Hitachi and Caterpillar Truck Experience Cat777, Cat785,
- EH4000
- Hydraulic Drill Rigs SK50, MD6420
- Medium Trucks and Light Vehicles
- Work at heights (desirable)
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Relevant mobile plant licences (desirable)
- Diesel mechanical trade experience with Hitachi and CAT earth moving equipment
