About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HSE Systems Specialist to join the Whitehaven Coal family. The HSE Systems Specialist will be responsible for the management, maintenance, governance and improvement of HSE owned data, reporting and systems.
This role can be based out of Brisbane, Newcastle or Gunnedah or Sydney.
What You’ll Do
- Be part of a customer facing functional team who focus on coaching and provision of tools to deliver outcomes aligned to our company direction
- Track HSE performance in the company
- Manage HSE & Risk using platforms including; Advanced MS Office Suite, SAI360, Documentum, Avetta / Pegasus, SAP, Sharepoint, BI Reporting.
- Drive change to influence teams in new processes
- Assist with data analytics
- Assist in project initiatives to improve efficiency and performance
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in Mining preferred.
- Advanced Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, demonstrated initiative and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and excellent organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
