Exciting opportunity for a site based Electrical Project Manager. The position is a project-based role fixed term contract, with a FIFO roster of 10:4 from Brisbane to Townsville.

About the Role
As the Electrical Project Engineer you are responsible for the management of project works. You will support both the Electrical Package Manager and Construction Site Manager in effectively managing the BOP contractor throughout the construction phase of Windlabs project.
Other duties include:
- Manage the procurement of electrical plant, equipment, and materials from scope development through tender manufacture, delivery, installation, commissioning, and documentation, including resolution of supply issues.
- Assist in managing design and documentation reviews in conjunction with external engineering resources for electrical balance of plant to ensure compliance with project objectives and requirements.
- Assist in leading project interfaces during the construction and commissioning phase of the project.
- Supervise commissioning process for electrical BOP and Grid Connection
- Supervise electrical engineers as required by the Project.
- Manage testing and commissioning of the windfarm.
- Lead Supply of Key Electrical Plant & Equipment and Services
- Contracts for Supply and Installation of Equipment (e.g., AS4910/4911)
- Consultancy Agreements
- Lump Sum Design and Construct Contracts Throughout the Contract lifecycle from contractor selection, appointment, ongoing management through to close out
- Ensure that service providers meet their obligations fully.
- Manage RFI & NCR processes within the scope of the role working with consultants, designers, and contractors, including participation in root cause investigations and development of solutions.
- Assist with design to ensure early compliance with Australian Standards
- Assist in managing collaboration with Network Service Providers and Engineering Consultants
- Understand Windlab’s position as the EPCM contractor and at times, project owner for the purposes of delegated authority and responsibility of decision making
- Promote coordination and collaboration, working towards project objectives
- Operate and ensure Projects are delivered technically in accordance with
- Company policies and procedures
- All applicable Laws, Standards, Codes of Conduct and Legislative requirements
- Directions of authorised Agencies and Customers
- Accurately report status of the Project tasks to external collaborators, customers and internally in accordance with the Project requirements (Communication Plans, established Protocols etc)
- As part of our Graduate Development Program, you will be required to support and mentor talented graduates, ensuring their growth and success whilst on site.

Essential Skills and Experienced required
- Knowledge of electrical design and construction standards
- Experience in Design and Construction of electrical power infrastructure.
- Experience in Substation construction and Installation.
- HV and LV reticulation installation
- Working knowledge of procurement of electrical plant and equipment for infrastructure projects
- Experience in commissioning electrical power infrastructure, including working with SCADA and communications systems.
