Take Ownership of AP in a High-Performing Finance Team. Are you ready to be the go-to person for all things Accounts Payable?
We’re looking for a switched-on, solutions-focused finance professional to take full ownership of our AP function in a standalone role. You’ll be joining a small finance team where your contribution will be valued, visible, and vital.
This is more than just processing invoices, it’s about owning the AP space, driving efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. If you love autonomy, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy making things better, this could be your perfect next step.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the AP function end-to-end, from invoice processing and PO compliance to batch payments and reconciliations
- Be the first point of contact for vendor queries and payment issues
- Ensure accurate ledger balances and timely reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
- Support staff with expense claims and assist with audits, FBT, and other finance matters
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller on payment runs and broader finance operations
- Pitch in across the finance team when needed, we’re a collaborative bunch!
What You’ll Bring
- Solid experience in accounts payable, ideally in a standalone role
- A knack for problem-solving, process improvement, and working independently
- Strong systems knowledge, NetSuite experience is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- High attention to detail and great time management
- A proactive, adaptable approach — you’re not afraid to ask questions or suggest better ways of doing things
