The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our EGL Quality Assurance Team located in Surry Hills, Sydney. In this newly created role you will work collaboratively with the EGL quality team, wider business and our supply partners to ensure the highest standards for safety, quality and compliance of the products sold through Dan Murphy's and BWS are maintained
Reporting to Endeavour Drinks Quality Manager you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the end to end execution of product withdrawals/recalls for Dan Murphy’s & BWS.
- Coordinating the handling of customer and store product complaints.
- Coordinating supplier investigations of customer product complaints.
- Reporting to the EGL Quality Manager gaps in product quality and actions plans for improvement.
- Maintaining QA dashboards and board reporting.
- Supporting customer experience improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring all products comply with relevant Food & Trade Practices legislation.
- Supporting incident & crisis management, BCP and emergency preparedness processes.
- Supporting the business regarding ad-hoc quality and food safety initiatives.
About you
This position would highly suit, but is not limited to a Coordinator currently working in a Quality Field. The successful candidate will have a skill set encompassing the following criteria:
- Minimum of 2-3 Years’ experience in quality management within the manufacturing or food industry
- Ideally a tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Suite tools (I.e. Power BI, excel, forms etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change and working in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand Food Standards essential
- Food safety and Safety, Health & Environment Management knowledge
- A genuine passion to deliver high quality products & services
