Senior Project Manager (Automation)

Primary Connect is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Project Manager to lead a major DC automation project integral to our Supply Chain network and strategy. Based in either Norwest or Moorebank, the successful individual will take responsibility for the project scope, contract management, commissioning and testing of the automation systems to be delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the automation project whilst engaging with operations, suppliers and relevant stakeholders to deliver outcomes in line with contractual agreements
- Conduct formal systems testing at various stages of the project
- Coordinate regular working group meetings, status reports, schedule updates and manage ongoing risks, resources and costs as required
- Manage implementation and validation of variations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Supplier management and partnering
Skills, experience and qualifications
- Proven experience with major automation suppliers including but not limited to Vanderlande (MSRDC), Demantic, Scahefer, Swisslog or Witron
- Ability to lead and deliver complex automated systems, inclusive of commissioning and testing phases
- Contract management experience with specialisation of understanding and negotiating terms
- Adaptable communications for a variety of audiences inclusive of internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Project Management qualifications (Certificate IV or higher) ideal
