The Opportunity
Woolworths is constantly evolving its offerings to meet the ever changing needs of its customers. Responding to recent shifts WooliesX has announced “Everyday Market” a new marketplace proposition that will expand the range of products Woolworths offers on woolworths.com.au. Unlike the core online supermarkets offering this new business will empower sellers to range, sell & fulfil their products through woolworths.com.au
As this business scales we are looking to hire marketing talent to help grow this business to deliver on marketing & trade objectives across experienced wned, earned & paid channels. You will be joining the growing marketing team to develop & execute campaigns for Everyday Market. Expect a fast paced environment where you are encouraged to innovate and push the boundaries to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
This role will sit in eCom Marketing Activation while working extremely closely with the Everyday Market marketing team. This isn’t a role for the faint hearted and our customers will be at the heart of every decision you make.
The role is a 12month fixed term contract
Role Responsibilities:
- Partner to set and deliver overall annual and campaign objectives for Everyday Market
- Execute campaigns with a focus on owned channels (web, email, social) while considering how they fit with paid and earned campaigns
- Develop the overall marketing plan (owned, earned paid channels) to support always on activities and key customer campaign moments to deliver trade objectives
- WooliesX works in an Agile model so the ability to brief across squads and tribes relevant creative to support campaigns is critical
- Partner with eCommerce team to integrate Everyday Market into existing campaigns with a customer centric approach
- Determine key metrics for Everyday Market through the funnel to align to eCom key measures and metrics
- Consider integration into key eCom programs and rhythms while determining what stand alone marketing programs may be needed for Everyday Market.
About you
As a true marketer you will be passionate about innovation to deliver an effective omni channel experience for our customers to create brand advocacy and excitement. You set standards by example and enjoy partnering with others & are able to work autonomously to deliver results
You’ll be excited to join an established team while helping to build a business from scratch. This is a unique chance to help shape the marketing team and vision from concept to a standalone yet integrated new customer proposition.
You will have past experience working in a digital setting ideally within retail, with proven experience delivering digital marketing campaigns across a large complex organisation.
- eCommerce experience across Omnichannel businesses, marketplace experience preferred
- Broad end to end marketing experience in both large organisations & start up environments
- A hands-on “roll your sleeves up and get it done” attitude
- Growth mindset in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
- Pragmatic and influential nature when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Extensive experience in consumer facing digital business, Ecomm platforms and digital marketing
- Experience in Agile delivery and matrix organisations preferred
