The Employee Relations team is responsible for delivering quality employee relations advice, guidance and coaching for Line Managers, People Partners and the Leadership Team at Woolworths Group.
By joining our team, you will get the opportunity to contribute to a culture of service excellence supported by robust HR processes and technology. You will provide tailored support for internal customers and HR teams across the full Woolworths operating model, identifying new ways of enhancing the line manager and team member experience.
About the Role:
We work in a fast paced contact centre environment and provide high quality assistance and support to team members and line managers in a timely manner.
Due to ongoing evolution within our team and internal promotions, we have multiple opportunities for highly motivated and inquisitive individuals to join the HR Shared Services team as an Employee Relations Advisor.
These are permanent full time and part time opportunities. Our hours of operation are from 7am - 6pm, Monday to Friday and we are open to discussing what a good working week would be like for you.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Provide high quality advice on a wide range of common and specialised HR matters, including guidance and coaching for team members and line managers on employee relations matters such as grievances, performance management, misconduct, policy breaches, wellness and health matters
- Provide targeted guidance, case management and support for the varied Supermarket, Supply Chain and Corporate teams across the Woolworths Group
- Provide exceptional customer service experiences through efficient evaluation, closure and/or escalation of all queries and advice
- Work closely with other HR service teams to ensure learning and knowledge sharing across all HR and business teams
About you:
We’re looking for passionate individuals who are committed to delivering quality solutions in a fast paced, high volume environment. You will bring with you:
- Previous experience in an ER or HR generalist role or relevant study with the desire to develop a career in ER
- A positive and professional phone manner
- A passion for people
- An analytical and inquisitive mind with the ability to actively listen and question to build a better understanding
- Ability to multitask and work within a fast paced environment
- Good aptitude for systems (Genesys, Salesforce, Successfactors/SAP, Google Suite)
- Ability to thrive in an evolving environment
- Curiosity and empathy, with an eye for the bigger picture
