About the role
You will be a part of our E2E Accelerated Pay Tribe whose mission is to be the key enabler for the business to build confidence and trust in our E2E pay solutions and achieve our best in class ambition.
Reporting to the Tribe Lead, the Remediation Product Owner is responsible for maximising the value created by the squad by balancing the needs of all stakeholders, and understanding the needs of the customer. The squad is responsible for managing and delivering all remediation programs to ensure our Team Members have received the correct entitlements for work performed. The role forms part of a value stream working closely with the Data Insights and Modelling squad and Team Support squad to deliver a seamless experience for the business and our team members.
As a Product Owner you will be responsible for:
- Setting the direction and prioritisation of the squad to ensure the mission is realised;
- Maintaining an ordered backlog and working with the squad and the broader tribe to clarify requirements and maintain the product roadmap;.
- The quality of the squad’s released work and will anticipate, resolve and escalate strategic risks/issues;
- Leading agile ceremonies as a member of the squad and driving collaboration across the People Team and with business teams;
- Bringing to life our new agile ways of working by showcasing working end to end to solve problems; and
- Navigation the squad through big room planning activities in order to prioritise and create value for Woolworths and our teams.
About you
You’re known as a highly collaborative and engaging leader who is able to energise a cross functional squad/team to deliver key results. You bring energy and experience in leading large scale programs in a complex environment. You are excited by change and embrace agile practices and adapt to new ways of working. Optimistic for what’s possible, you have the ability to cut through complexity to create simple yet compelling plans, shaping the roadmap and priorities with squads to deliver the mission. You are able to balance your energy for the future with the everyday, remaining attuned to the work and showing deep care for the squad.
You will have a good understanding of retail or navigating large complex organisations, with 5+ years in HR, Culture & People or Finance, with a track record in leading large remediation programs relating to pay compliance or related experience. You have a solid understanding of the current industrial relations environment coupled with strong stakeholder management and forward planning skills. You have held roles leading project managers, and will be able partner with other squads to scope, quantify, and guide stakeholders through complex remediation programs ensuring our team members have been accurately remediated.
