
The opportunity
We have a fantastic newly created permanent opportunity for a Team Communications Engagement Lead, internally this role is known as an eCom Team Experience Lead, this role reports to the Senior eCom Operations Lead.
The role
In this role, you will be exposed to a wide range of eComX initiatives and will deliver an impact by delivering effective communication, initiative support, team feedback loops and input into future leadership structure to drive team experience, customer experience, and brand advocacy.
On a day to day, you will deliver BAU communication, tools/resources content management as well as support WX squads, Chapters and CoE’s in delivering content within continuous improvement initiatives aligned to WooliesX agile structure and ways of working.
You will also support in delivering communication strategies through projects, programs, team listening and events. You will work with cross-functional teams and develop creative visual media and written material that drives positive change.
Key responsibilities
- Support development, planning and implementation of the national eComX communication and engagement strategy across support and operations. Ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels for key deliverables, strategy, BAU and focus areas including efficiency, smart growth and safety.
- Develop tools and templates to help leaders and people managers cascade appropriate information effectively and efficiently, challenging and improving ways of building capability for our teams.
- Work with the various leaders and business units to build, prioritise and execute holistic strategies to drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop new and imaginative ways of showcasing the work and achievements of eCommerce across WooliesX and the Woolworths Group including the creation of engaging presentations that tell compelling stories.
- Support team and customer-centric initiatives to over 1,000 supermarkets and our growing network of eCom enabled fulfilment centres.
- Help develop and implement communication plans for key priority projects, events and change initiatives.
- Assist business-critical and ad-hoc requests to support the eCom Operations Team to execute tactical responses.
- Develop and Implement wellbeing and engagement plans that support care, culture, diversity and sustainability to ensure team engagement and wellbeing are brought to life through our ways of working and team events.
About you
- You are innovative, proactive and willing to get your hands dirty in a range of activities. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have an agile approach to business changes. You love working with people collaboratively and developing engaging content to create positive impacts.
- You also have:
- Minimum 3+ years previous experience within a similar role with a focus on communications, event coordination and content creation
- Tech-savvy with the ability to create content using iMovie and Canva along with other relevant applications
- Strong stakeholder engagement and partnering skills at all levels
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Confident presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to tell compelling stories
