About the role
Reporting into the Stocktake Business Analyst, the Stocktake Analyst role exists to build strategic relationships with the Stocktake Operations Managers, Stocktake Managers each Business Unit within the Woolworths Group.The role requires an appetite in understanding their reporting and data analysis requirements, and then implementing best practices to execute these requirements. The National Stocktake Team completes around 3,000 stocktakes each year and it is crucial that both the Operational Teams and our stakeholders are supported with accurate and efficient data and insights.
This is a full time salaried role for a 6 month secondment period continuing up until the end of December 2022.
Critical data analysis, maintenance and reporting are fulfilled in this role with close internal and external stakeholder feedback and engagement required. The role currently oversees the Stocktake Payroll functionality and delivers the weekly ‘Actuals’ based on the number of stocktakes performed, however we are keen to explore automation in this area. Whilst the role also works closely with the Stocktake Operations Managers with Load Audits completed for Primary Connect, data integrity issues and the ongoing automation of systems, procedures and reporting is crucial.

Provide ongoing actual vs budget reports to both internal and external partners

Assist external auditors (Deloitte) with data requirements

Ensure accurate information extraction from SAP & GCPDashboard maintenance and evolution

Generate Delivery Accuracy reports and provide tangible outcomes allowing measurable improvement in store service levels

Maintenance and ownership of all Stocktake Google IP

About you

High competence in Google (GCP), Excel, SAP, Tableau

High competence with data sets and data insights

Preferably the successful candidate will commence in role ASAP and whilst the location is flexible, there is an expectation that the successful applicant will work from one of Woolworths States Office facilities for 2-3 days per week and 2 days flexibly.
