
About the role
The Marketplace Enablements team’s mission is to support and enable cross functionally initiatives ensuring we are developing a sustainable marketplace business.
This Head of Enablement is responsible for: a) developing an operational framework with the leadership team; b) driving alignment on goals and priorities with partner teams (both internal to WooliesX and external; c) establishing a Insights team with oversight of key business metrics; and d) leading strategic initiatives from business case development to program roadmap to execution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with the leadership team to develop a marketplace capability framework, mapping the capability gaps and building the strategic roadmap to enable Everyday Market’s ambition and growth.
- Ensuring this framework evolves to incorporate all required inputs across market / competitor activity, seller and customer needs, and advancements in Marketplace capability.
- Developing mechanisms to review and track the progress of the Marketplace.
- Partner with technology partners, to ensure the roadmap satisfies current and future needs, working backwards from customers and suppliers.
- Identify and develop other strategic partnerships to accelerate our Marketplace ambition.
- Develop tools (incl. scoping advanced integrations and BI reporting) to provide insight to our teams and sellers on how they can improve marketplace health
- Identify and provide both tactical ad hoc insights and a strategic ongoing roadmap of deep analytics aligning to Marketplace maturity.
- Support key strategic initiatives through tool development and accountability frameworks
About You
- CFA/ MBA qualified.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with large scale e-commerce and various marketplace models (e.g., managed, vertical, multi-sided, B2B2C), including systems involving complex business logic.
- Product experience driving product vision and roadmap with a track record of leading teams to deploy innovative solutions that deliver measurable results at scale.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, enabling connectedness, speed and agility across the organisation by translating ideas between commercial and operational / technology teams into across with accelerated delivery timeframes.
- Experience working in both large and small organisations, navigating the maturity curve of various functions, developing and re-tooling along the way
- Arsenal of strategy concepts and tools at disposal and knowing how to identify, select, implement, and integrate the optimal tools.
