Shape the Future of Finance
If you are completing your studies in 2023, we are looking for the next generation of leaders to join our team and play a role in actively shaping the transformation of finance. Here, you’ll have exposure across all of Finance, and build a skill set that will put you ahead of the curve at Woolworths Group.
What you’ll learn and experience
In this 2 year program, you will rotate across our Corporate Finance functions, our commercial and operational business unit teams and be exposed to our Finance Shared Services team that operate out of Adelaide and Hobart. The role is primarily based in our Norwest Head Office in Sydney. As one of our Finance Graduates, you will experience first hand the running of a large commercial business that has a significant presence in Australia. You will get relevant professional training and complete rotation specific learning objectives that will develop your commercial and business acumen.
When does it start?
Our graduate program will commence in January 2024. By successfully completing this program you will roll off into a permanent position within our Finance team.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for team members who are passionate about retail and innovation, with a customer first mindset and thrive in a fast paced team environment. As we move to an agile way of working, you will need to bring your self-awareness, resilience and the ability to learn and apply new information quickly.
- Candidates will need to have completed Bachelor of Business (major in Accounting) or Commerce (major in Accounting) or combined equivalent degrees in 2023.
- Willingness and ability to complete a CPA/CA program funded by Woolworths Group
- We are especially looking for candidates who work in our stores or are referred by current team members, but this is not a requirement.
- The role is primarily based in our Norwest Head Office in Sydney. Candidates not in Sydney are welcome to apply but may need to relocate if successful.
What can you expect?
Our recruitment process includes online assessments, a video interview, attendance at an assessment centre and concludes with a panel interview. Please submit an online application.
