The Role
As the Product Manager - Web, your main responsibility will be driving customer engagement and conversion through a focus on website fundamentals (SEO, accessibility, performance), key entry points in to our conversion funnel (e.g. product description pages and wishlists) and leveraging our key partnerships (e.g. Everyday Rewards).
In this position, you will bring the BIG W purpose and strategy to life by partnering with the Digital Leadership Team and Product Managers to deliver the BIG W’s strategic initiatives.
Key areas of accountability:
- Partner with the Group Product Manager to develop the roadmap for Digital improvements across the website customer journey.
- Leverage customer insights and data to drive customer focused, commercial decisions to drive forward BIG Ws digital ambitions.
- Lead the delivery of these initiatives through the development, launch and continuous improvement.
- Drive training, documentation and change management required to embed those initiatives.
- Partner with external vendors and internal Woolworths group teams to scope, architect and deliver new capability and integrating into our existing Technology architecture.
- Partner with internal stakeholder teams across the digital ecosystem to define, design and execute digital roadmap initiatives.
- Together with the business teams define, document and prioritise epics, stories, acceptance criteria and release mapping with consideration and managing of dependencies and early benefit realisation.
- Ensure thorough end to end testing has been completed following release management best practices.
- Lead teams by communicating compelling messages to initiate support from the team and business to make decisions.
- Actively manage the risks, timelines and dependencies associated with the delivery of Digital initiatives. Seek active feedback and pivot as required. Ensure transparency of key decisions, progress and risks/issues at all times.
About You
As an experienced professional from a digital background, you will have a strong understanding of digital customer journey, CX and UX delivery with a particular focus on mobile. You will be passionate about continuously improving BIG W’s digital offers for our customers through collaborating and co-creating with stakeholders across business functions.
You would also have:
- CX and CRO program development experience essential
- Working knowledge of Web and App UX/UI
- Retail and Online delivery experience, working with an Agile mindset.
- Previous Experience as a known and trusted business partner in a fast-paced environment
- Champion of best practices for customer and team
- Experience working in an agile environment working closely with the delivery team and bringing in the customer and business perspective, removing roadblocks.
- Experience in Jira/Confluence for managing boards and project documentation.
