The Role
In this role you will be responsible for conducting on-site training to provide Team Members with knowledge, competency and capability to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
This role is responsible for increasing the Company’s productivity by teaching new skills and knowledge to Team Members.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct Induction including key stakeholder involvement in the day
- Liaise and provide feedback where appropriate to the Training Lead
- Deliver compliance training
- Coordinate training for specific Team Members as directed by Operations and Training Lead
- Be the conduit between operations management and Team Members
- Coach, mentor and develop Team Members through floor walks, monitoring and continual guidance.
- Deliver training as directed by the Training Lead
- Be involved with event planning
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced professional with:
- Forklift licence (or willing to obtain licence)
- A coaching and mentoring mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded, but not essential)
- A strong commitment to safety and associated behaviours
- Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Packages eg Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc, Google Programs eg Docs, Sheets etc
- Is approachable and available, provides guidance, support and provides feedback
- Resilient and seeks to build that capability in others
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity in all interactions, commitments and decision making
- Attention to detail
