We have an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join the Group Treasury team on a full time 12 month parental cover basis. Reporting into the Head of Treasury Operations, you will join an innovative and rapidly evolving business. Working from our Norwest office, this role allows flexible hybrid work arrangements. The role will focus on handling of daily cash and short term liquidity for the Group and its business units and transaction and corporate banking needs of the Group and its business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily cash management including reconciliation of cash positions and ensuring adequate liquidity for daily business needs
    • Processing of treasury related payments and one-off payments
    • Deposit and recall of surplus cash
    • Management of bank facility drawdowns and repayments
    • Settlements of foreign exchange and derivative transactions
  • Support execution of funding, capital management and M&A transactions
  • Reporting
    • Preparation of cash forecasts on a rolling 12 month basis
    • Provide support and assistance across various reporting and analytical requirements including half year and full year reporting and month end reporting of Group Treasury matters
  • Managing stakeholder relationships
    • Day to day management of the Group’s relationship with bank counterparty operations teams
    • Day to day management of Group Treasury’s relationship with FSS (Finance Shared Services)
    • Opening, maintaining and tracking of bank accounts and signatories across all jurisdictions and platforms
  • Contribute to the internal audit of Treasury risk and controls
  • Document and update Treasury policies and procedures
  • Contribute to Group Treasury initiatives such as process improvements, system implementations and upgrades, etc
  • Support the Head of Treasury Operations with other administrative tasks around the team
  • Contribute to a strong performance oriented and value adding culture within Group Treasury

Desired skills & experience

  • 2 years experience in Treasury operations
  • A keenness to learn and succeed
  • Minimum of degree in accounting, finance or a related field
  • Ability to manage priorities and competing deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems
  • Experience with banking software and websites
  • Experience in FX Settlements
