Overview
We are looking for an experienced Manager to join a dynamic programme team of experienced Program and Transformation Consultants for a 12 month FTC. The Programme team's focus is to support the operational functions of the Woolworths Group Portfolio, to deliver the GNFR Supplier Management Framework.
We are looking for individuals with prior or current consulting / Supplier Management experience with demonstrable leadership skills who are able to form part of a high performing team. This role is for an individual wishing for a new consulting challenge within a successful corporate leader that can offer significant career progression and competitive rewards for high performers. The role will utilise your creativity and will leverage your operational expertise to drive successful business outcomes for key strategic programmes of work.

About Us
We are an enterprise-wide, C-suite sponsored program team built to drive value and operational excellence throughout the Business Units through a consulting style service that leverages a strong program structure and provides both leading practice insights / thought leadership and delivery excellence to our business partners.
Our mandate is to partner with each of our Business Units across the group portfolio to identify and develop high quality operational excellence or cost optimisation plans and projects, within the Goods & Services Not for Resale space. We collaborate with each Business Unit to target and prioritise the areas that represent the most significant improvement in their cost of doing business and therefore directly contribute to the bottom line of the company.
About the Role

Workstream lead or Subject Matter Expert within a high performing pyramid structure aligned to the Supplier Managment Framework role out

Support, Develop and utilise Programme Governance and Reporting structures to expedite issue resolution and decision making and drive the overall accomplishment of your workstream

Own, craft and shape the storyboard of your workstream throughout its lifecycle to resonate across the complex stakeholder group and cover the multi-faceted needs of the organisation

Build credibility and be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the Business Units.

Be challenged in a key role where you will make a visible impact on the success of the Woolworths Group and manage C-Suite / senior stakeholder relationships.

The role will utilise your Supplier Management expertise and will leverage strong stakeholder management skills as key relationships with senior business leaders are developed. Support, collaborate and upskill your team members and leverage their unique and individual capabilities to drive the optimal outcomes for the Woolworths Group.
The individual will play a consultative / trusted advisor role to the Business Units and will support and empower them through their change journey as the program develops and deploys. The role will work with the PMO function to support project management and the development of strategic plans to drive the timely accomplishment of work streams / programmes. This role will directly contribute to the success of one of the most visible C-suite sponsored strategic programs within Woolworths Group and will support the development of a high performing internal consulting capability.
About You
- Extensive experience within the role out of procurement programs within a large corprate
- Strong end to end project management skills
- Proven experience in managing the whole or parts of an end-to-end multi-million dollar transformation project/s across a large organisation and geography.
- Well developed consulting and problem solving toolkit including analytical and financial modelling skills with a creative mindset that brings clarity to ambiguity.
- Strong track record in delivering quality outcomes, demonstrated ability managing internal and external stakeholders as well as the ability to structure and prioritise project demands.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to influence & gain credibility with senior stakeholders and project teams.
- Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed; to structure and manage workloads and be a valued contributor to the team.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
