What you’ll do
The State Feasibility Manager is responsible for defining, developing and leading a standardised project management methodology to enable successful project delivery in addition to program monitoring and reporting. The State Feasibility Manager is to undertake due diligence of proposed projects (New, Renewal & replacement stores) by evaluating risks and identifying opportunities of innovation, carefully assessing associated costs and program risks prior to completing feasibility. The role will see you:
- Establish the Renewal and the New Store program in consultation with the National PMO State 360 teams, renewal operations and State Property team.
- Support the planning team in preparation for concept schemes & sign off plans to ensure scope of works is consistent with the project affordability and are correctly documented.
- Coordination of project costs, plan and documentation for submission documents to be approved by the FGCC.
- Deliver viable projects on time and on budget to the Capital Committee for approval
- Support Property with briefs and documentation required for inclusion in Agreements for Lease or commercial terms for extensions and renewals. Review & provide input into Exceptions Schedule for the Agreement for lease , supporting State Construction Manager
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring an ambitious mindset, a love of retail and a passion for people to a promising role with room to grow your career in the refit space and beyond. You would also:
- Have a background in retail is essential for success in this position
- Come with experience in or exposure to: financial management, project management, development/property space or construction costings
- Relevant qualifications in one (or more) of the following fields: Architectural, Engineering, Construction or Project Management
- You will have strong influence and negotiation skills, as well as comfort in speaking/presenting to different stakeholders
- For this role, there is a sizable travel component. This could be every second week onsite, out of your home base, overseeing and planning projects. We also encourage flexible working arrangements, as our sites and offices are available to you.
