As a Learning Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our learning experience initiatives for our Primary Connect Distribution Centers. Your expertise will be directed towards creating impactful learning experiences that will be delivered to targeted audiences such as Team Leaders, Payroll & Workforce Planning teams. You will work closely with different stakeholders in a cross functional project group to understand and clarify learning needs, build learning experiences, and measure the impact of our work delivery.
Those hybrid roles offer the unique opportunity to work from anywhere along the East Coast, whether it be in NSW or Victoria.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the People Capability Lead, you will transform strategic plans and processes into dynamic learning solutions, providing a comprehensive array of materials, tools, and resources to re-enforce both in-person and digital instructional approaches. Your expertise will extend to offering support during solution deployment, while also actively shaping and refining optimal practices within the learning design team.
You will have a key impact on ensuring that training in our Distribution Centers (DC) are optimised for operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Working with stakeholders and in a cross functional project group to understand and clarify learning needs, create problem statements, gain insights from your learning audience, develop success criteria, and identify and mitigate any constraints.
- Translating strategy and process into innovative learning outcomes, delivering materials, tools, and resources to support facilitated and digital delivery methods. You will also support the deployment of your designed solutions to the training delivery, Subject Matter Experts and end user teams.
- Developing learning materials for virtual or face to face instructor-led sessions, eLearning modules, training videos, quick reference guides and assessment tools, either individually or in collaboration with both internal and external partners.
- Gain insights into user needs by spending time in their environment
- Collaborating with Technical experts to develop and validate course content.
- Capture, interpret and generate insights using data to inform design and development of learning content and inform evaluation approach.
- Identifying opportunities and problems, contributing insights and adding value wherever you can across people capability
- Collaborating with, and contributing to, a passionate Chapter of learning professionals to ensure consistent and aligned learning experiences to our ecosystem

We are looking for learning designers who possesses the following key criteria required for this role:
- Hands-on experience in content development and knowledge of instructional and digital learning design models: Your proven track record in crafting engaging and effective learning materials, combined with your deep understanding of instructional and digital learning design models, will be instrumental in shaping impactful training experiences.
- End-to-end learning experience design: Your skill in designing and developing comprehensive learning experiences that seamlessly integrate a variety of delivery methods will enable us to provide a holistic and well-rounded training journey.
- Proficiency in the use of digital learning tools: Your mastery of tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline, and Studio), Vyond, Camtasia, or similar platforms will empower you to create interactive and dynamic learning content that resonates with diverse learners.
- Strong stakeholder engagement/communication skills: Your ability to convey complex concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visually compelling elements will ensure that our training programs are accessible and meaningful to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Growth mindset and incorporation of best practices: Your continuous quest for improvement, coupled with your dedication to incorporating the latest and most effective L&D strategies and methodologies, will drive our training initiatives to remain at the forefront of excellence.
- Data-driven approach: Your proficiency in utilising data to inform the design of optimal learning environments and experiences will enable us to create impactful training programs that resonate with learners and drive tangible results.
