WooliesX Hub is 2 minutes walk from Central station and walking distance from all the cafes and restaurants that Surry Hills has to offer. The brand new sites have been designed to support flexible working with different spaces for activities such as collaboration, brainstorming, or relaxing.
With flexible working at our core, our teams have the option to work from home, out of our Surry Hills offices, or our corporate head office in Bella Vista.
The Position
This is a new permanent marketing role within Woolworths at Work – one of the fastest-growing and strategically vital areas of WooliesX. We are looking for a Marketing Executive - B2B Commercial Designer to join the B2B Marketing Team.
You will be a key member of the Woolworths at Work Studio. The Studio is responsible for ensuring all Woolworths at Work customer touchpoints are on brand and achieve commercial outcomes. Working closely with designers, copywriters, brand and acquisition, customer marketers, producing different creative concepts and using different mediums to help Woolworths at Work grow. As a growing business the Studio is also responsible for constantly improving processes and efficiencies including developing templates, building libraries of assets that can be leveraged across the business. Champions of the brand and delivery to brand identity.
On any given day you may work with bids, tenders and the sales team to develop highly converting sales proposals in google slides or InDesign, develop animations as social posts that help grow followers and drive website traffic, orchestrate new email templates that help achieve open and click through rates, storyboarding and developing brand videos and trade show stands with new collateral designs, pull up banners, ideating landing pages to generate the most conversions, and internal events themes, invitations to drive staff engagement. As this role has a broad remit, someone who has experience across multiple mediums and is open to learning new and innovative ways to engage with our audience would suit this role.
As a great communicator, you are known for quality delivery with a focus on the detail. You are confident to share ideas, highlight opportunities and take ownership and the lead on projects. You will be curious about customers and understanding their needs and putting them at the centre of decisions. Performance-oriented you will measure and monitor your activity, sharing results with senior leaders with a focus on optimisation. Day to day you will be focused on ensuring all work has a positive ROI.
This is a really exciting and new role that will be supported by a team of experienced marketers. This role provides a career path into more senior B2B roles at WooliesX so suitable for someone interested in building a B2B career.
Key Experience
Proven Ability to:
- Study briefs, determine requirements, think creatively, produce a host of ideas, selecting the best ones, deliver impressive concepts, collaborate with others and amend designs after feedback
- Use a suite of design software and other marketing technologies to deliver creative concepts that drive a commercial result
- Work together with brand, other designers, copywriters, UX, developers and ensure all elements are on brand
- Use experimentation to test creative designs, understand results and impact and make improvement for the future
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and always strive to deliver to a high standard
- A self-starter, with the ability to think and act fairly independently at times whilst working within a supportive team
- Communicate effectively with team members keeping them up to date with progress
Essential Requirements
- Experience working in a B2B environment /or with B2B clients
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field with 3 - 5 years experience
- Experience with design software and other marketing technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Figma, Wordpress, AEM etc )
- Ability to understand briefs, determine requirements, think creatively, produce a host of ideas, selecting the best ones, deliver impressive concepts, collaborate with others and amend designs after feedback
- Understand the concept of brand and work together with brand, other designers, copywriters, UX, developers and ensure all elements follow brand guidelines
- Use experimentation to test creative designs, understand results and impact and make improvement for the future
- Able to work with brand guidelines, including writing style and visual identity guidelines
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and always strive to deliver to a high standard
- Able to effectively plan and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and within required deadline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to meet deadlines
