Dispatch Shift Supervisor (Night) | Customer Fulfilment Centre

We are extremely excited to share with you an opportunity to be a part of the first Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Rochedale, Queensland and be part of the leadership team in one of our large scale dedicated online facilities. This CFC will offer Home Delivery, Crowd and our first ever CFC Direct to Boot offer.

Join us in providing a little good for our online customers. Reporting to the Dispatch Manager this role will:

  • See you work a Full-Time roster (Sunday - Thursday) 3pm - 2am

  • Shape the future of online shopping in Queensland

  • Be part of the first CFC in the State, which provides a dedicated fulfilment offering at a larger scale.

  • Support the Dispatch Manager to ensure optimal CFC operational performance across Staging & Dispatch activities.

  • Support the Dispatch Manager to lead, manage, and support the Staging & Dispatch teams to provide an exceptional level of service to all online customers by ensuring all orders are dispatched on time.

  • This role will lead the department in the absence of the Dispatch Manager

As the Dispatch Shift Supervisor ADM (afternoon), your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Dispatch Manager to coach team to ensure online orders are staged and dispatched accurately, to ensure customers receive their orders on time and in full across home delivery, Crowd and Drive Thru

  • Support the Dispatch Manager to work with the transport service provider to manage day to day dispatch activities to ensure on time departure of outbound delivery trucks

  • Ensure CFC tasks are completed in line with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to food safety and security standards

  • Provide team and operational feedback, ideas and concerns to the Dispatch Manager to improve our offer to customers

  • Ability to coach, motivate and inspire a large team to stretch their capabilities and unleash their potential

  • Remain composed under pressure to deliver results whilst maintaining leadership profile

  • Communicate information and ideas to the team in a clear and focused way that is understood by team members and achieves outcomes

  • Financial acumen and ability to analyse information, identify trends and prioritise issues, then make effective decisions and deploy resources as needed

  • Innovative and not content with status quo, always looking for new ways to delight the customer

  • Understand the perfect order scorecard segments, Voice of Customer, and other metrics to analyse the CFC and deliver results

Essential knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of Online order fulfilment processes and systems

  • Previous experience supervising, managing, and developing a diverse team

  • Effective time management skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer literate

Desirable knowledge and experience

  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment

  • Experience working in food online environment

  • Experience communicating across large teams

  • Retail management experience

  • Experience working to a budget to achieve business targets including CODB and throughput
