The Opportunity
Due to an internal career move, we have a unique opportunity for an Analyst to join our automation team. Reporting to the Flow Analyst Lead, you will work to ensure all areas of production are being carried out according to the operational plan, so that store orders are marshalled on time and meeting dispatch windows.
You will be working with the MSRDC team to meet People, Safety and Service expectations, and contributing to the achievement of overall DC performance & supporting the front end team to provide a seamless experience for our suppliers and customers.
Utilising your initiative, continuous improvement experience & great communication skills to work directly with your team to achieve high delivery standards.
Your day-to-day would be Involve:
- Continuous monitoring of production, people, equipment and safety policies and procedures
- Reporting on and communicating performance against the Operational Plan and KPIs, including recommending adjustments where required to meet dispatch windows
- Monitoring and overseeing the flow systems within the distribution centre, and report on any deviations to plan from automation
- Using automation and related systems, including Planning tools, Operational Dashboards, CCTV, UHF Radios
- Performing user and product audits to identify where adjustments are required to improve accuracy
- Managing the introduction of new products into the DC and the required system information to allow for automated handling
- Correcting problems related to product handling issues throughout the DC including root cause analysis and rectification
Who we’re looking for:
With a curiosity to learn new technology and interest in growing within a team, we are looking are for someone with:
- Previous experience in continuous process improvement, manufacturing or system analysis is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to convey information with the required sense of urgency
- Proven experience and confidence with navigating various software programs

- Flexibility to meet business needs, including changing shifts and days as required
- Exposure to SCADA systems
