About the Role
The role will oversee the end to end raw material inventory management process across our wider ecosystem, encompassing all demand channels (retail, foodservice and export). The role will include the implementation of a new warehouse management system, compliance management to both international and domestic regulation standards, whilst also fostering and building strategic partnerships with third-party logistics providers.
- Assist in the design, scope and implementation of the new WMS.
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of inventory levels, in addition to the tracking and forward forecasting of order fill rates and stock builds relative to the forward sales plan.
- Coordination of audits to ensure third party compliance.
- Maintenance of data integrity within IT platforms, SAP, QUINTIQ, Foods Connected, GCP.
- Oversee scheduled or spot stocktakes.
- Management of stakeholder enquiries.
- Investigation and validation of any stock credits, together with trending, analysis and investigation when required.
To be Successful in the role you will need:
- 5+ years experience in warehouse and stock control management. Temperature controlled FMCG background preferred, with meat industry experience highly desired.
- Relevant exposure and understanding of warehouse management systems.
- Exposure to generating regular stock reporting and providing forward forecasting.
- Management of projects in tandem with day to day operations.
- Short shelf life product supply chains.
- Demonstrable skills in cross-business collaboration.
- Influencing in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Management of workload and deadlines with restrictive time constraints.
