The Role
In your new role as Allocations Analyst, you will be responsible for working collaboratively across the wider team to problem solving utilising your strong analytics & logic to make customer and team-driven decisions that ensure the right stock in the right store at the right time to improve performance & customer experience. Through analysis of store performance, you will be able to identify opportunities to increase sales and profit through changes in future allocations. This is a fixed term - 12 monthopportunity.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Determine the allocation quantities to stores for a wide range of products, based on product strategies and sales trends
- Monitor store and product stock performance to determine areas for improvement within allocations and ranging to maintain optimal stock balances in stores and capitalize on sales opportunities
- Allocation of advertised/event lines and monitoring of stock flow to ensure the product reaches stores on timeline, to satisfy customer needs for brochures and events
- Weekly Allocation of Products based on sales trends to meet Allocations KPIs, adjusting allocations as needed based on sales trends
- Advise Merchant Teams on data issues preventing allocations, and support issue resolution
- Work closely with the Commercial, Planning, Stock Flow, and DC teams to deliver an end-to-end approach to allocations that delivers the best result for stores and DCs
About You
You are a passionate & curious retail professional looking for your next career move as an analyst and develop strong problem-solviing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, logical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Personal adaptability and resilience - demonstrating the ability to embrace change and effectively adjust to new or altered processes
- Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Retail experience - understanding of operations & stock movement
- Basic excel skills with a willingness to learn more
