What You'll Do
As a Marketing Manager within the Everyday Rewards business you will be passionate about understanding what our Rewards members value most, provide Member exclusive offers and experiences, and create a two-way conversation with our Members via innovative digital, data, direct and content marketing techniques.
You will be working on a 6 month backfill cover within one of our partnership squads, and in conjunction the broader Woolworths business where appropriate.
You will be working within a Rewards Partners & Services squad, and in conjunction the broader Woolworths business where appropriate. You will develop and deliver marketing plans in conjunction with our Rewards partners, that will create a more emotive connection with Everyday Rewards Members and help them enjoy value from the broader Rewards partner ecosystem.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with some Rewards partner businesses and lead the development of marketing programs of work which help generate incremental business for our partners. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the partner budget as well as managing the capacity of a Marketing Executive.
Leveraging the advanced data analytics capabilities that exist within the wider team, your marketing activities will deliver boosting members. Additionally, success will be measured by acquisition for and engagement with key Rewards partners.
You are highly experienced in Data Driven Marketing and have a strong knowledge of Social Media and Digital Marketing. You are organised, agile and have proven leadership experience. You will possess strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, and be able to use your expertise to help influence partner marketing plans.
The role’s key objectives include:
- Drive incremental revenue and share of wallet growth for our program and partners, via Direct Communication and Targeted Media channels to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Planning & management of allocated budget.
- Effective allocation of a proportion of budget and resource to Test & Learn initiatives.
- Ensure that financial goals are met or exceeded, including return on investment.
- Development of business cases to ensure commercial viability of all activity and forecast return.
- Prepare annual business plans for the development/implementation of key Marketing strategies.
- Ensure alignment with key stakeholders and functions when building marketing strategies including ensuring all senior stakeholders, partners and commercial teams are engaged as required.
- Provide coaching to more junior marketers
What You'll Bring
- 5-7+ years experience in Direct/Digital Marketing, Direct Response, CRM, or Data Driven Marketing.
- Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline (Business/Commerce/Marketing etc).
- Experience in working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Innovative, strategic thinker, customer focused, able to deal with ambiguity, self-motivated.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Financial acumen and ability to analyse information, identify trends and prioritise issues, then make effective decisions.
- Demonstrable experience in managing highly successful multi-channel direct marketing campaigns.
- Experience or exposure to Social Media, and Social Media Management.
- Understanding of digital advertising principles, including programmatic, paid search and SEO.
- Understanding of customer databases and/or complex data sets including segmentation, clustering, and predictive modeling.
- Experience in creating and developing and leading successful marketing calendars and contact plans to budget.
- Proven experience in developing Test & Learn frameworks, and driving conversion rates across multiple channels.
- Experience with leading digital marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Marketo etc.
Desirable
- Experience working in an Agile Work environment.
- Experience in specifying and leveraging statistical or computational models to improve campaign performance outcomes.
- Experience in campaign automation and exposure to key principles and solutions.
- Exposure to Mobile first design and customer centric UX.
- Experience in managing external agencies and vendors for performance.
