What you’ll do
As a Front End Engineer at WooliesX, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users interact with in a web application. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create a smooth and enjoyable user experience. This role demands a high level of expertise in modern front-end technologies and a keen eye for detail in UI/UX design.
- Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into functional and visually appealing web pages whilst collaborating with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
- Implement and maintain automated testing for front-end components (e.g., unit tests, end-to-end tests) and debug and resolve issues across browsers and devices.
