_______________________________________________________________________

The impact you'll have:

At the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC), we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.

As we continue on an exciting chapter of growth, we need you to join us as an Organisational Change Manager. You will play a critical role in shaping how change is successfully delivered across WIC. You will lead and embed best-practice change management approaches, equipping leaders and teams to effectively adopt, adapt to, and sustain change.

You'll be responsible for developing and leading WIC's Change Management Framework, ensuring a consistent, people-centred approach that translates strategy into meaningful outcomes. Your work will help reduce delivery risk, accelerate benefits realisation, and enable senior leaders — including the General Manager Strategy & Experience and Executive Sponsors — to focus on high-value decision-making.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you will ensure that change readiness, adoption, and stakeholder experience are clearly understood and actionable at the executive level. You will partner closely with the ePMO Manager and the Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Manager to ensure governance, delivery, and strategic initiatives are supported by the practical tools and experiences people need to successfully navigate change.

This is an opportunity to lead impactful, organisation-wide change — driving stronger alignment, improving delivery outcomes, and ensuring a positive and engaging experience for our people.

Who we're looking for:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Deep expertise in change management frameworks, methodologies, and tools, with a track record of leading successful organisational change initiatives.
  • Experience in building and fostering change capability, including champion networks, professional development, and communities of practice.
  • Superior stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at executive level; confident partner to Executive Sponsors and ELT.
  • Strong collaboration skills (e.g. working alongside the ePMO Manager, Communications Manager and strategy roles) to align assurance, sequencing and change.
  • Demonstrated success leading people-centred change on major initiatives including design and implementation of change strategies, impact assessments, readiness assessments, and change communications.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Change Management, Business, Psychology, Organisational Development).
  • Professional credentials in change management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Change Management Institute).

For further information, please refer to our position description which you can access through our careers site.

Resolution matters. And so do you.

We're a stable, purpose-driven organisation that offers you meaningful work, a welcoming and vibrant team culture, and a range of benefits, including:

  • Competitive remuneration, plus generous allowances and reimbursements for study, wellbeing and home-office working.
  • More leave when you need it most - flexible leave arrangements tailored to you.
  • Access to our 24/7 holistic mental health and wellbeing program for you and your family.
  • A progressive and supportive work environment with experienced leaders who are invested in you.

Here are some of the things we hope you'll love about working with us:

  • Help Victorians find a way forward

As an Organisational Change Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting WIC to help injured workers and employers overcome some of the most challenging times of their lives.
