The Workplace Experience team is dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences for Xero's people, ensuring every interaction reflects Xero's values. As a collaborative group, the team works on projects ranging from cultural initiatives and workflow enhancements to event management, all while maintaining an environment that prioritizes innovation, wellbeing, and connection.

About the role

The Workplace Experience Coordinator is integral to fostering exceptional workplace experiences at Xero. This role ensures the office operates seamlessly and embodies the high standards Xero is renowned for, supporting employees and visitors alike. From coordinating events to maintaining vibrant and functional office spaces, the role is dynamic, focusing on creating environments that inspire and enable staff to deliver beautiful outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and maintain inspiring and functional workspaces, and provide top-notch customer service to all Xeros
  • Plan and execute a variety of events and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Oversee daily office functions, optimizing space utilization and managing vendor contracts
  • Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to optimize workplace experiences
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure alignment of workplace initiatives with company goals
  • Assist Xero employees in the region with various workplace-related needs, such as travel arrangements and tool utilization
  • What you’ll bring with you:

  • Minimum three years of hands-on experience in a corporate office administration or event coordination role
  • Experience with workplace tools and systems, including ticketing systems and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Jira) is preferred
  • A proactive and collaborative team player who can work both independently and within a team environment
  • A self-starter who is passionate on driving continuous improvement
  • A customer-focused mindset and effective stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Xero has an office shutdown from 23rd of December 2024 to 5th of January 2025. Applications will be reviewed from the 6th of January 2025.
