Role Purpose
About this opportunity
We are looking for an inspiring Graphic Designer on a 12 month contract who is passionate about delivering creative brand, design and production solutions. Reporting to the Team Manager, Brand, Design & Production, a typical week in this role might look like:
- Taking briefs from internal clients, conceptualising, and delivering print and digital design projects in accordance with brand guidelines
- Contributing to project plans and delivering design outputs for passenger-facing collateral (including print, digital, marketing campaign and partnership services)
- Ensuring alignment with the Department of Transport and Planning regarding brand, design and production requirements for all passenger information
- Managing and maintaining the brand and digital asset libraries and conducting user training for staff and contractors
- Providing overflow support to the Finished Artist.
About you
Ideally you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design (or similar) and 5+ years of work experience
- A brief portfolio of recently completed work
- Extensive experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Creative problem solving skills and attention to visual detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
- Work in a Mac environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office apps including Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word advantageous
- Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects advantageous.
