Revenue Protection
This is a rewarding role for motivated and dedicated people who will play an integral role in protecting state revenue and providing the public with customer service and reassurance.
This role will primarily involve conducting ticket inspections and taking the appropriate action when offences are detected. You will work towards assisting in providing a safe, modern and
friendly environment to the traveling public.
Reporting to the Team Manager, Authorised Offices, the role specially involves;
- Reporting all offences detected and submitting relevant reports in a timely and accurate detailed manner.
- Providing a high degree of customer service by being approachable and knowledgeable towards our travelling public.
- Assisting in the security and preservation of Yarra Trams vehicles and property.
- Contributing to the maximisation of fare compliance on Yarra Trams
- Successfully completing legislative assessments relative to the role.
About you
Ideally you will have:
- A high level of adhering to protocol and upholding legislated compliance.
- Strong, proven customer service skills, ideally gained in a face to face, fast paced environment. A high degree of communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong comprehension of the English Language to assist with completing legal statements.
- Confidence and flexibility
- Ability to think and respond productively.
- Ability to work in a close team environment and/or autonomously.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts and irregular hours, over a rotating 7-day week.
- Competence in various computer software and proven experience with various Microsoft applications.
- A high standard of personal presentation.
