We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Manager, Industrial Relations to join our People & Culture team. Think of this role as the driver behind smooth journeys—not on the tracks, but in the workplace. About the Role:
You’re a confident and collaborative IR professional who’s ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved. You’ll shine in this role if you:
- Lead, mentor, and guide the Industrial Relations team
- Partner with leaders to implement the organisation’s IR strategy
- Provide clear, accurate, and commercially focused advice on workplace relations matters
- Support complex case management and advise on industrial instruments
- Draft and review employment-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and agreements
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including unions, and represent the company in conciliation matters
- Plan and lead the enterprise bargaining process end-to-end
- Ensure compliance with legislation and industrial instruments
About You:
This role will suit an experienced IR professional who can:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial instruments
- Provide expert advice on complex IR and ER matters
- Build trust and influence decision-making at all levels
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Manage multiple stakeholders and resolve disputes
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, unionised environment
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Law, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or related discipline required.
Prior experience working in a fast-pace, multi-disciplined and/or multi-site environment is preferred, but not essential.
