We’re now looking for a curious, collaborative and forward‑thinking Data Engineer to help transform how our Commercial Finance teams’ access, use and trust financial data. Why this role matters
As our Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in uplifting the accuracy, automation and intelligence of our financial planning and performance processes. Your work will power better budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic decision‑making across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain financial data pipelines, models and reporting structures
- Develop automated financial models for budgeting, forecasting and performance insights
- Improve data quality, governance and consistency through AI‑enabled and automated workflows
- Deliver dashboards and commercial insights to Commercial Finance and Executive teams
- Work closely with Financial Planning and Performance and the broader Commercial Finance team to turn commercial needs into scalable data solutions
- Support ad‑hoc analysis and ensure integrity across all financial datasets
What you’ll bring
- Strong programming and data manipulation skills (SQL, Python, R, SAS)
- Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or enterprise finance environments
- Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines and financial data models
- Skills in tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Business Objects
- Exposure to enterprise finance systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, TM1, EPM platforms)
- A mindset for automation, AI‑enabled analytics and continuous improvement
- A relevant degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics or similar
