Role Purpose
At Yarra Trams, our mission is to deliver world-class transport services to our passengers. In this role, you will contribute to this goal by:
- Developing and delivering high-quality visual communications across print, digital and campaign environments
- Acting as a custodian of the Yarra Trams brand, ensuring strong visual consistency, design integrity, production accuracy and efficient end-to-end creative workflows that support organisational priorities.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end creative delivery from briefing through to concept development, finished art, production and archiving.
- Provide considered, brand-aligned design solutions that are visually compelling, strategically sound and fit for purpose.
- Own and triage incoming Creative Services requests, prioritising in line with business objectives and delivery timelines.
- Prepare press-ready artwork and digital assets to appropriate technical specifications, ensuring production accuracy and quality control.
- Liaise with external creative and production suppliers to achieve cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.
- Provide professional design guidance to stakeholders, acting as a trusted subject matter expert in visual communication and brand application.
Skills
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or Finished Art (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (Mac environment).
- Experience with motion graphics, basic animation or video editing (advantageous).
- Strong capability in design principles such as layout systems, typography, colour theory and visual hierarchy.
- Demonstrated experience preparing press-ready artwork and digital assets to technical specifications.
- Experience translating strategic briefs into clear, effective visual communication.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within a deadline-driven environment.
