We are looking for multiple Trainee Electrical Field Tester to join us in a four-year program that will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge while under the supervision of qualified and experienced Commissioning experts. Zinfra Trainees are required to complete components of their training online in addition to on the job workplace and worksite rotations. You will be required to complete a Diploma of ESI - Power Systems.
Trainee's will experience a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry to gain enhanced employment skills and career development opportunities.
You will be given the chance to participate in a variety of field activities which will include:
- Assist in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of power system primary plant and secondary systems.
- Assist in construction, maintenance, fault finding of Power Industry Networks and Substation protection and control schemes
- Operate and use plant, equipment and tools associated with maintenance and commissioning work
- Interpret protection schedules, drawings and schematics
- General duties at job sites, administration and traffic control (where trained).
At the end of the program, a successful Apprentice will have completed all competencies for a Diploma of ESI - Power Systems.
The 2023 intake will see positions available at our Bangholme and Broadmeadows depots.
