In your role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing a portfolio of Retail Income Protection claims with an opportunity to expand your skills in other areas of Life Insurance Claims such as TPD, Trauma and Terminal Illness. You’ll enjoy working autonomously to conduct over the phone claim assessments as well as managing financial and technically complex claims, leveraging your thorough understanding of the relevant legislations and guidelines. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will stand you in good stead as you settle cases within your limits of authority.
Important to your success - let's grow together
- Experience within a life insurance claims role, advantageous.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills.
- Sound knowledge/training in medical terminology or an allied health/medical based course.
