Interact with senior stakeholders across the firm daily as you support our tax, legal and Deloitte Private teams work through risk to provide practical commercial solutions to business challenges.
What will your typical day look like?
Supporting our Tax, Legal and Deloitte Private teams, your day could see you providing assistance with anything from contract support, confidentiality matters or even the development and commercialisation of new technology tools with independence and conflict of interest implications. You will be interacting with and developing relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business, while leading and managing projects, facilitating training presentations, contributing to policy development and responding to stakeholder queries. In assessing and working through each situation you will work with specialists from across the firm who will assist you to provide practical and commercial advice. You will be challenged to learn something new every day with support from your team.
About the team
Our national team of risk professionals is responsible for protecting and enhancing the Deloitte brand by supporting practitioners dedicated to helping our clients solve their most complex problems. You will be part of a front-line team working with professionals in our Tax, Legal and Deloitte Private businesses to understand the risks involved in providing our services and collaborating on commercial solutions to manage this risk, while driving compliance with both regulatory and internal quality standards. Supported by our team members, based across Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide the quality and risk team will give you a defined career path and you will gain exposure to working with senior stakeholders daily as you assist them find solutions to the issues they are facing.

- Experience in tax, accounting or legal, with exposure to risk management.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience in coaching and developing others.
- A natural curiosity and desire to learn and understand the business context of your work.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in an agile environment.
- A lateral thinking style with a practice and commercial solution focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deal with senior stakeholders with confidence.
- Ability to deal with conflict and hold difficult conversations.
