The Opportunity
This role will provide commercial support and advice to the Dan Murphy’s eCommerce and Marketing teams, using data to drive performance reporting, planning and insightful analysis that improves and supports decision-making. Your ability to business partner and build and foster strong working relationships will be crucial to your success.
- Provide detailed analysis and recommendations on marketing campaigns and promotional mechanics across the channels
- Proactively communicate commercial impacts on past and future activities amongst stakeholders.
- Develop Initiatives to improve visibility and accountability of the divisions financials
- Support strategic and project analysis to drive improved returns on capital investments and business initiatives
- Proactively work with key stakeholders to optimise ways of working across marketing and ecommerce business teams
- Support broader commercial finance team when necessary and ensure Marketing and Ecom strategies are widely known across the broader finance team
- Own and manage the weekly and monthly performance reporting
- Own the Ecommerce P&L and associated commentary
- Own month end activities including accruals and cost centre performance for both Marketing and Ecommerce divisions
- Support the forecast and budget processes
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with a collaborative style and strong strategic and commercial thinking. You’re motivated by being able to partner with the business and turn data into meaningful insights that allow you to influence key decisions. You will also have:
- CA/CPA qualification;
- Proven experience in a business partnering role
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience;
- Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment
