About the role
We’re seeking a Culture & People Partner to join our QLD Supermarkets Culture & People team to support a large portfolio of Supermarkets spanning from Bundaberg to Weipa, and out to Mt Isa. The role would preferably be based in Townsville, however a location within the far north Queensland region is also suitable.
Partnering with the Operations Manager and reporting to the State Culture & People Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as a trusted adviser to operational leaders as they develop and execute business plans
- Implementing people strategies that promote a diverse and inclusive culture, and attract, develop and retain talent to deliver business outcomes
- Leading the talent management and workforce planning rhythm for the region
- Preparing and presenting insights on key people data to enable actionable insights on team experience
- Managing the implementation of people change initiatives and coaching leaders to overcome impacts of change
- Delivering key Culture and People initiatives focused on leadership, capability, engagement and much, much more!
More about you
You’ll be a collaborative HR generalist, with a hunger to partner and run with the end-to-end spectrum of the business. You’ll also demonstrate;
- HR partnering capability - You have prior experience in HR in a business partnering role, and are capable of collaborating with operational leaders to enable business success
- Personal effectiveness - You are a self-starter, with strong planning and organisational skills that allow you to adapt to and manage competing priorities
- Change management - You have experience in supporting HR change projects and support leaders navigate through this
- Communicate with impact - You communicate your ideas and plans, both written and verbal, with impact and in a manner that resonates with your audience
- Agile and growth mindset - You role model tenacity, resilience and the ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and ways of working
- You will live our values - showing deep care for our team, listening and learning, and always doing the right thing
- Relevant skills, experience and qualifications - You are degree qualified in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field, or hold equivalent on-the-job experience.
