UGL is currently looking for an experienced Electrician to become a key member of the team at St Lucia. You will be responsible for providing detailed designs, developing specifications and interface with management on design issues
About the role
In this role you will be exposed to various work environments including domestic buildings, industrial workshops, commercial office, research laboratories and agricultural fields. The types of works that you may be required to undertake include but are not limited to\:
- Statutory testing (RCD & Emergency Lights)
- Repairing equipment (from outlets to overhead lines)
- Appliance testing
- Thermographic inspections
- Generator testing
- High voltage switching
- Security and data installations
About You
- Current Electrical Licence
- High Voltage Switching Certificate
- Hold a current CPR/LVR
- Switching, fault finding and resetting experience on CHPP preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ electrical experience in a Heavy Industrial environment
- EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space highly regarded
- Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, diagrams, drawings and specifications
- The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
