Your role
Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.
What underpins the way we deliver operations and technology across Enterprise Services are the common processes, systems, technology and tools which together are the foundational elements for every application in the organisation to run off. GTS brings together the teams designing the processes and ways we work, with the teams running and managing the systems, technology and tools for our operations and technology teams. GTS is enabling velocity and managing risk in our delivery through a common and integrated approach.
Your team
Our purpose is to ensure Executive Leadership Team, Board and Senior Leadership awareness of technology risks, performance and achievements to enable informed decision making and, to develop, communicate and measure GTS (Global Technology Services) Strategy. We achieve this by a regular cadence of executive reporting; strategy development; analysis, policy improvement; Safe, Sound and Secure Committee governance and other ad-hoc initiatives.
Do Work that matters:
You will be responsible for leading the development of executive reporting, strategy, policy and other specific strategic initiatives for growth and improvement across the business unit
You will not have any direct reports
The role reports to the Executive Manager-Strategy.
Responsibilities include:
- Executive reporting: Authoring and contributing to risk reporting and strategy deep dives for Board and Executives
- Strategy: Facilitation and authoring of technology strategy at multiple levels, roadmap development and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Governance, policy and risk: supporting the strategic pillar (Safe, Sound and Secure), policy uplift
- Ad-hoc problem solving, internal consulting and executive communication artefacts.
Your skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a strategy role within consulting or the strategy team of a large organisation.
- Solid understanding of technology concepts, strategy, analysis, risk and policy
- Ability to write concise executive reports through research and communication with senior stakeholders
- Ability to clearly and concisely represent complex concepts via simple presentations to enable executive communication and decision making
- Facilitation of workshops with Executive Managers and General Managers.
- Gathering information from stakeholders at all levels to understand current state, future state and to define strategies and roadmaps for the future
