Job Description
If you are a self-motivated, forward thinking Talent Acquisition Specialist who is ready to make a difference then this is a great opportunity at BHP for you.
Joining a Global Talent Acquisition team, you will be a member of a dynamic, professional and friendly team who are willing to share knowledge and support your learning and development. Due to employee movements, we have a number of opportunities (12 months fixed term) for you to consider.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- End to end specialist talent acquisition including strategy, screening, assessment, selection and contract negation;
- Supporting the development of proactive talent pools for specific job families and engaging candidates in a meaningful way; and
- Acting as a trusted partner to the business using data and intelligence to inform recruitment tactics and strategies.
Skills and Other Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced recruiter who ideally has good exposure to the resources sector or a similar heavy industry. Ideally you will have experience in campaign style recruitment and managing volume recruitment at a fast pace.
- Your strong stakeholder engagement, communication, customer service, problem solving and organisational skills will be assets, as will your attention to detail and your talent to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to build relationships.
- You will be motivated towards continuous improvement to enable simplification, efficiency and effectiveness of the function.
- You have a growth mindset and learning agility.
