About the Team
Reporting into the Director of Operations, the Test Track Officer will work closely with our Quality Assurance team members and our Test Operators as they conduct various acceptance tests at our MILVEHCOE vehicle test facility
About the role
The Test Track Officer is responsible for day-to-day running of the systems that ensure safe and efficient running of the MILVEHCOE vehicle test facility. Updating the schedules and attendance records for the Test Track are the core function of this role. This role also conducts vehicle driving and testing tasks within the scope of their qualifications
As a Test Track Officer, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Maintain the Test Track facility usage schedule. Work with planning staff and team leaders to resolve any usage conflicts.
- Ensure all persons onsite in the Test track facility report and update their attendance on the relevant site board. Work to resolve any non-compliance.
- Monitor all test track activity for compliance to EH&S procedures and protocols.
- Perform vehicle movements and driving activities across the Test track and other test surfaces.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Current HR or higher driving licence
- 2 years minimum experience in a role controlling heavy vehicle movements for a Test facility of similar facility.
- Experience operating wheeled and tracked heavy vehicles.
- Knowledge of EH&S requirements pertaining to safe operation of vehicle testing facilities and heavy vehicle movement.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately maintain basic data in a range of standard databases and applications.
