About You

You are an experienceddata analyst or data engineer looking for an opportunity to blend your knowledge of NAB’s legacy and strategic data platforms to make a difference. You will be comfortable as a self-led individual contributor spanning a range of use cases helping projects and operations realise value from data. You are able to use extensive knowledge of NAB’s systems and data to help connect business requirements to the data that satisfy them, balancing best practice against practical needs. You have probably had hands on experience with NAB’s data systems and are a prolific user of GDW, ROME, Radar, Tradestore or Teradata, understanding the business use cases they support. Your knowledge of these systems and their data will help projects within and outside Enterprise Data plot a successful path to our strategic ambitions and legacy decommissioning.

Your Skills and Experience

• Skilled in ETL within a traditional data warehousing environment with at least some exposure to equivalent practices within Big Data solutions. You may no longer be ‘practicing’ ETL engineering.

• Skilled in querying data from a range of technologies particularly focused on relational databases, with at least some exposure to other data platform storage solutions.

• Skilled in working within project and operations delivery, understanding and matching business needs to the data that realises them.

• Skilled in working with NAB’s legacy data platforms or with a closely integrated system providing or consuming data.

• May have some experience in NAB’s strategic data platforms (NRP, NDC, NDH).

• May have some experience operating within midrange technologies whether on-prem or cloud hostedwith a focus on supporting data use cases.
