About the Role

BHP is currently looking to recruit qualified maintenance tradespeople looking to join our world-class maintenance teams either now or in the near future. We have a number of exciting opportunities available ranging from HD Fitters, Light Vehicle Technicians, Auto Electricians and Fixed Plant Mechanical Technicians. Having the right people working across maintenance will allow us to unlock the value of our assets by ensuring that we have reliable equipment, predictable operations and a safe work environment for our people.

These opportunities are based residentially on family friendly rosters across Newman, Port Headland, Leinster and Kalgoorlie.

About You

• Experience working in a Maintenance role (mining experience is not essential)
• You will hold an Australian equivalent Mechanical, Electrical or Auto Electrical trade.
• Hold a C class Manual drivers licence

Locations

Newman – The 7,000 strong population of Newman enjoys well-established town facilities including a newly revitalised town centre and sporting facilities. Port Hedland - It is considered a gateway to the Pilbara, set amongst beaches and mangroves abundant with fish and wildlife, it is driving distance to spectacular national parks such as Karijini as well as Broome and Karratha – a perfect base to immerse yourself in stunningly unique landscapes and enjoy camping, fishing and exploring with your family, partner, pets or friends. Kalgoorlie – It is the largest inland city in Western Australia and due to its central location is positioned at the heart of the Goldfields as a vibrant mining town and a major gateway to the Eastern States. The City of Kalgoorlie/Boulder offers modern shopping facilities including big brand and local independent retailers, 4wd & cycle tracks, plenty of parks and playgrounds and schooling for all ages up to high school. There are contemporary housing options for all budgets.
