Following an internal move, an Adelaide-based role with a regional focus has become available to lead our Talent Development (TD) function.
Our region comprises of 11 countries across Asia Pacific, New Zealand & Australia (APNA). Our Talent Development Lead, APNA, will own responsibility for contributing to the strategic direction, and be accountable for the leadership and operational delivery, of our Talent Development function.
Acting as a positive contributor to our regional HR team, the role partners with our HRBPs, business leads and global TD team on development initiatives. Through this partnership you will influence business decisions to drive high performance aligned with global, regional and local initiatives.
With a flexible working arrangement available, the areas of success for this role will be skills in leadership, collaboration and communication, focused on driving innovative, technology-supported design and delivery TD solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
*Leadership - working closely with our HRBPs and business leads, you will role model positive leadership through exceptional collaboration. You will be able to lead small teams while being confident to work collaboratively with the regional HR team;
*Collaboration - Your openness and receptiveness to new ideas by including others in design and delivery decisions will be critical to your success;
*Design & Delivery - demonstrating the ability to plan, design and facilitate development programs for all employee levels through our calendar of events and core programs;
*Emerging & Senior leaders - owning responsibility for the design and delivery of new leadership development initiatives which complement our Group Emerging and Senior Leader programs. Promoting and designing programs that focus on leadership development is a core focus for this role.
*Innovation - driving practical yet innovative solutions, both in person and virtually, using technology as an enabler
*Subject Matter Expert - supporting our Practice and Technical Excellence leads, you will play a supportive role that enables our technical initiatives, which includes support to Major Projects as required.
Other functional support will include succession planning, continual improvement and actively contributing to our Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing initiatives.
We work as a highly efficient close team that likes to laugh as hard as we work. We are open to a variety of previous experience in Talent Development. Team fit will be a key success factor. As this role supports across our APNA region, you will demonstrate the ability to navigate cross-cultural communications and interactions with kindness.
Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors will be highly regarded alongside an ability to innovate new delivery methods virtually to reach across or region. While some domestic and international travel will be required, it will be limited to only where necessary as we enable our Talent Development delivery through technology. The role will require advanced excel skills. Experience with other technology tools and platforms that support learning will be highly regarded.
