About the role
As a Senior SAP Application Specialist you are responsible for governance, relationship management and guiding operational support of SAP S/4HANA PP and QM applications. Support Business and collaborate with the business and third party partners to understand to execute the businesses strategic vision while consulting across functions to integrate business processes and applications effectively.
Senior SAP Application Specialist will be mainly working in a BAU environment with opportunity to work on projects, including gathering requirements, configuration changes, testing and end user training.
The general and generic duties of the SAP Application Specialist (PP/QM) include, but not limited to:
- Provide operational support for SAP S/4HANA system based on SAP best practises aligned to the to meet RDA’s expectations
- Provide Application Management Services in SAP like Incident/problem/change request management
- Analyse and triage incidents with an appropriate sense of urgency, focus on restoration of service, followed by root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Ongoing reporting to the management team while acting as a subject-matter expert in best practices, technical approaches, and strategic recommendations
- Support architecture, process, and governance development
- Provide troubleshooting services as a part of project or post-production support activities
- Perform out of the box configuration and implement necessary customization as needed
- Participate in capacity planning and HW specification recommendation efforts
- Work with business post implementation for user testing, debugging, support and maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement processes and implement automation initiatives

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Minimum 2 years End-to-End implementations in PP. Preference with S/4HANA PP
- Familiarity with SAP technology toolset (S/4 HANA preferred)
- PP functional knowledge in Manufacturing process and solution design in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA is critical, specifically in Master data design; change management; MRP; PI Manufacturing Processes; variant configuration and integration;
- Desired QM functional knowledge in Manufacturing process, including; Master data design’ production/procurement inspection design; batch management; integration
