The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join our Aftersales Development & Distribution Division as an Accessory Planning Specialist.
This Accessory Planning Specialist will join a motivated team of diverse and high performing team members at Altona.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop accessory strategies, in addition to the determination and creation of optimal product line-ups to complement the Toyota and Lexus model range.
What will you do?
- Strategy to develop market leading and innovative automotive accessory product.
- Identify opportunities in the market for product creation that will delight the customer and increase TMCA market share.
- Determine strategic accessory line-ups from the collection of market, product research and various other sources.
- Effective networking, collaboration and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders to introduce accessory product line-ups.
- Coordination of stakeholders to ensure accessory product line-ups achieve all objectives.
- Communication (via various mediums) of accessory line-up proposals to the relevant areas within TMCA.
- Reporting and making recommendations to senior management as required on accessory product.
What are we looking for?
- Excellent project management and time management skills, with strong ability to handle multiple projects in parallel with competing deadlines.
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to create and present proposals and recommendations to management.
- Marketing, Commerce, Business degree preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of the automotive market, segments and trends desirable.
- A genuine interest in automotive technology, accessories and vehicles is desirable
