HealthyLife - Product Manager | Owner
About The Role
This is a new role that will manage the inception, creation and delivery of major product features for the HealthyLife business. The product manager / owner will rely on their experience in product ownership & management, big data & analytics as well as their background in interfacing with various engineering roles to bring this project to life.

Responsibilities
Many of HealthyLife’s projects are technical in nature and have potential to deliver huge value to our customers. The product manager /owner will:
- Work closely with stakeholders, UX/UI teams, data specialists and engineering teams to understand the problem space
- Liaise with product, data and engineering teams to help conceptualise the solution
- Work with our business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and to set the development priorities to align with these
- Own and manage the feature delivery from the beginning
- Ensure that the solution that is delivered meets our customer and company’s needs
- Provide assistance with writing relevant product requirements and handling requests for product enhancements
About you
We are looking for someone who ideally comes from a technical background with demonstrated experience delivering projects end to end. Your background could be directly from product management or even software development, software architecture or engineering. With more than five years’ experience in bridging the gap between the technical and business requirements, you have the means to design and
drive real world problems into tangible solutions. No specific industry experience is required, however you must have demonstrable experience in leading a product team from the concept through the design, development and delivery of an application.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is comfortable engaging with stakeholders and understanding and interpreting their requirements. They will have an analytical mindset and will be adept at translating business requirements into software feature requirements. They will also be used to delivering outcomes to pre-defined timelines.
Essential skills and experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of prior experience as a Technical Product Manager in e-Commerce or related field
- Knowledge of API design and extending the API into the platform and product
- Trained in Agile development methodology with experience as product owner/backlog owner
- Proven experience in setting direction for technology teams, prioritizing development activities, and driving new product development investments in an organization using Agile methodologies
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities and an extreme attention to detail and ability to self-audit work
- Ability to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Ability to lead and manage a team to deliver business results.
- The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated proactive contributor and subject matter expert on team projects. Familiarity with business issues, or the ability to quickly learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
