Job Description
The Opportunity
The Global Packaging Design and Artwork (GPDA) function at CSL Behring is currently recruiting for an Artwork Layout Technician to join our dynamic team. The position and work is located at our Broadmeadows (Australia) site, but you will also be part of the wider global artwork team and supporting layout tasks across the globe. This exciting role is a full-time permanent position and your main focus is to execute Artwork Layout design activities. The role supports the Global Artwork Team Manager in ensuring all CSL Behring printed packaging material products complies with company, regulatory and commercial requirements.
You will play a key role in creating artwork layouts and working with cross functional teams to update printed packaging materials in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
The role
Reporting to the Global Artwork Team Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and execute artwork layout design activities to ensure printed packaging material products complies with company, regulatory and commercial requirements
Complete artwork layout tasks as prioritized with manager to ensure day to day operations are completed
Adheres to all artwork compliance measures (layout checks, proofing, etc) to reduce the risk of errors or deviations occurring in the artwork
Manages the subsequent artwork electronic files and ensure they are stored and maintained in the correct location and in the right file formats
Complete tasks required for creation or revision of artwork SOP/WI or other associated documentation as appropriate for site requirements
Apply and comply with global standardization requirements for artwork process
To be successful
High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training
Demonstrated experience in packaging and Artwork or related packaging disciplines
Proven basic knowledge and skill in use of design software such as Adobe Indesign and Illustrator
Shows self initiative and good problem solving skills
High attention to detail with strong organisational and planning skills
Competent skill level with office management software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Adobe Acrobat is essential
