About the role:
Opportunity for a Configuration Management Controller to join our Underwater Systems (UWS) business based in Rydalmere NSW. In this role you will be providing configuration management support to UWS programs and projects. You will support the Program/Product Line Configuration Manager in the day to day conduct of configuration management within the delegated program or project. The position will employ configuration control skills, knowledge and competencies to ensure the establishment and maintenance of data and information artefacts within committed cost, schedule and quality expectations.
The position involves the following duties:
Establishment and management of configured data and information.
Maintaining the established configuration baselines for assigned projects/products.
Recording of configuration baselines and provision of status on identified gaps or omissions.
Direction and performance of tasks within the Configuration Management System (including tools) for the business and/or project.
Distribution and provision of contract deliverables to the customer.
Receipt, recording and storage of externally supplied information from the customer, suppliers or subcontractors.
Auditing of configuration baseline contents in line with project configuration management plans Ensuring the integrity of configuration data associated with stored information including definition, attributes, access control and traceability.
Implementing changes to configured information and products in line with project and business processes.
Generating of all KPI reports and dashboards as requested.
Supporting the project/product team with respect to the use of Configuration Management System.
How about you:
Formal qualification in Configuration management or equivalent experience.
TAFE qualifications in a technical discipline desirable.
Proficient with Information Technology tools (such as MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, etc.).
Experience in a configuration management officer or configuration controller role or equivalent.
Configuration management processes and standards.
Basic systems engineering principles.
Configuration management tools (IPESA, CMT-U, Windchill) experience will be desirable
Enterprise Resource Planning tools (CINCOM, InforLN) experience will also be highly desired.
